My name is Adele; I live in Charlotte, NC, and I love working with young people who’d like to understand math better and gain confidence in their math abilities.

Guidance and support are individualized. I work with students in Pre-Algebra, Math 1 through 4, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus I.

She is not only an incredible tutor but one of the most pure hearted humans you'll ever meet and I hope everyone gets the chance to meet a rare soul like her. She was meant to teach and guide. I will be forever grateful for her help. After my first year with her, I was able to start achieving straights A's in math but I had also gained confidence. She has become a life long mentor. About Me

I will help you to:

develop your math skills and ability to apply them,
have positive experiences learning that you can draw upon in the future,
have patience with yourself,
become more confident,
enjoy math more!

My own life experiences as a math student, mechanical engineering major, math teacher, mother, and mindful communication practitioner come together to provide attuned support, meeting students where they are at, and helping them move in the direction of where they want to go.

I currently work with students in Ballantyne and South Charlotte in all levels of math, up through Calculus. Sessions are offered in-person.

In addition to a background in math and math teaching, I am also certified as a professional transformation coach (CPC). I can help with strengthening mind-body connection and developing communication strategies for more conscious, self-connected and relational responding. I lean into the findings of relational neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology as support for embracing our full humanity. If this interests you, feel free to ask me about it!
